I'm pleased to see that Peter Whittingham has signed a new deal at Cardiff City. The midfielder who was the Championship's top scorer last season was widely linked with moves away from the CCS this season, but City have kept their man.He's yet to rediscover last season's form by any stretch of the imagination, or his goal scoring touch. Two gimme penalties have been saved and that's surely dented his confidence, but as the old cliche says, class is permanent, and Whitts is class.
