As is all too usual, it's been a while since I've posted, and sooooo much has happened since then. The challenge for me is I tend to just most stuff on Threads (primarily) and Twitter (yes I still call it that), and forget about this blog.
In no particular order.
My good lady and I had a midweek break away in near Cardigan in April. The weather was pretty decent, and we had a great time.

We followed that up with a week away in Cornwall/Devon - again the weather was kind to us and we explored parts of the south west we hadn't been to before including the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Mevagissey the Eden Project and Buckfast Abbey.

I received my first motoring offence since passing my test in 1977, getting caught speeding on the M5 on our way back from holiday. I've since attended a National Speed Awareness course, paid my penance and and now an ex-offender :-)
We had a General Election, and finally got rid of the Tories after 14 years of them ruining the country. Hallelujah!!
I went on an excellent 3 day golf trip with some buddies to Telford and played some fairly decent golf. I've another trip next week before our usual 5 nighter away in Portugal in September.
We've booked a river cruise to some Belgian cities and the Keukenhof tulip gardens next spring, and also recently booked a cheeky week away in Corfu for later this summer and a trip to Lake Garda in Italy next summer.
