The ref could have bottled it - almost appeared to after being harangued by Watford players and consulting his linesman, buy fair play he didn't. McCormack coolly slotted home with the last kick of the game when most City fans couldn't bear to watch. The relief was enormous for all (unless you were a Watford player or fan or manager).
